Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi

On what was probably the best sunset evening of the year, the Children from Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi, together with schools from the surrounding area, took part in the “Adders are Amazing” Parade up at St Davids Airfield. They had the opportunity to parade the incredible adder they made. On the same day the TV legend Iolo Williams visited the school to inspire the children with his talk and enthusiasm for the project. What an exceptional day!
Remembrance Commemorations – Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi took part in a very special day at St Davids Cathedral commemorating the events of WW1. The event, supported by the Royal School of Church Music involved
a series of workshops: the day ended with a moving service.
Children in Need Fundraising – The children from Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi worked really hard to raise the phenomenal amount of £1000 pounds, through a series of fun activities that were organised by the Charity Committee.
