RNLI VISIT TO SOLVA – TOMORROW 18th April at 6.00 pm

The Tamar and Tyne class lifeboats will visit Solva Harbour and will be accessible for members of the public to visit.
St Davids Lifeboat station is in the unusual position of operating two all-weather lifeboats, simultaneously.  The Tyne class lifeboat “Garside” is housed in the boathouse and launched down the slipway, when required.  The new Tamar class “Norah Wortley” is the primary all-weather lifeboat and is being kept on a mooring until the new station is ready.  If the weather conditions deteriorate the “Norah Wortley” will be relocated from her exposed mooring position at St Justinians, the Tyne class “Garside” will then become the lifeboat on service.

Please visit Trinity Quay, tomorrow, to view these magnificent vessels.
