Our guest speaker this month was a return visit by Julian Cremona – a biologist whose spectacular photography is a joy to behold. On this occasion he took us to the rain forests of Costa Rica and showed us the diversity of plants, birds and other creatures. Some of these are very rare and the colours, together with the accompanying descriptions and anecdotes, made for a fascinating experience. We are already looking forward to his next visit and to sharing his explorations of other parts of the globe.
Our plans for centenary celebrations are progressing and we will be sharing these with you in the months ahead.
The next WI meeting will be on Thursday 13 April. Visitors and new/potential members are welcome to join us. Our speaker will be J. Coggins who will talk about her time at Chatsworth House entitled “My Life Below Stairs”.
